Dear Birthparents,

We are Jeff and Mary Beth and we would like to thank you for taking the time to review our profile.  We have been together for six years and have been happily married four years.  We are a very energetic, fun-loving couple.  When we met we felt an instant connection.  We have a very strong relationship and we desperately want to share our love with a child and make our family complete through adoption.

We live on a 90 acre farm that was once owned by Jeff’s grandparents.  Our house is a very cozy cottage, which we have enjoyed renovating over the past few years.  We have cows, chickens, ponies and a pond for fishing.  We also have a dog named Higgins, and a cat named Jack.  Both are very gentle with children.  We live near a recreational lake and a state park.  There are many outdoor activities close to our house.  It is a wonderful place for a child to explore nature.  We frequently entertain our friends and their children on our farm, often taking everyone on a hayride around our property.

Jeff is a doctor at a local hospital and he is very passionate about caring for people, especially children.  He enjoys farming, cooking, reading and traveling.  Mary Beth is an analyst at a bank; however, she looks forward to being a stay at home mom.  She enjoys cooking, gardening, decorating and traveling.  We live near family and friends and they are all very supportive of our decision to adopt.  They also look forward to being a part of our child’s life.

We know that you have been faced with a very difficult decision, but please know that we would provide your child with a stable, loving home.  We promise to create a stimulating home environment full of learning and interesting life experiences.  We look forward to exchanging letters and pictures with you, as well as visits or whatever you may wish.  Thank you for considering us!
