Families Seeking a Caucasian, Asian, or Latino ChildKaren & Craig - Family #452
Hi. We are Karen and Craig and It is with much anticipation that we look forward to being parents, and with great respect that we admire your consideration of adoption. By Karen: Adoption is not a new concept to me or my family. It has been a meaningful part of my past; both my father and nephew were adopted. My Work: I decided to follow my heart to work with people and currently I work as a therapist working with children, teens, and their families. I love my work, both in its challenges and rewards. By Craig: The reasons I married Karen are the same things that will make her a great mother. When she is around kids she makes them feel loved and special. My Work: I have been in the computer field for the past 20 years and I now manage computers for a council of the Girl Scouts as well as own a private business. I do not have long hours and my office is close to home Our Relationship: By fate we found each other through hundreds of personal ads on an on-line dating service. We have similar interests in exploring other cultures through food, friends and spirituality. Our Home: Home is minutes from the ocean where we can walk on the boardwalk. We also are happy that there is a good school system in town and park down the street so children can connect with each other.
The Baby: After we adopt, Karen will take maternity leave and then she may return to work two or three evenings a week. Those evenings will be an opportunity for Craig to bond with the baby as well as ask grandparents to lend a hand. Openness: We look forward to establishing a relationship that is comfortable with you and plan to be open about our adoption journey with our family. Contact Adoptions From The Heart to learn more about us.
