Hi, we’re Liz & Jim. Thanks for considering us as adoptive parents. We’re sending positive thoughts and best wishes your way during this difficult time for you. We are excited to bring the joy of a child into our life and start our family through adoption! We’ve been happily married for 10 years and live in a great, family-friendly neighborhood with good schools.
Liz is creative, kind, loving, smart, with a wacky sense of humor. Hobbies include painting, drawing, scrap- booking, photography. She’s a part time administrative assistant for a church right now, to give more time to our future family. She has a Masters degree in Art Therapy. Jim is easy going, a great listener, optimistic, loving, kind, with great sense of humor. His hobbies include Tai Chi, hiking, biking, guitar, Toastmasters. He has a PhD in Psychology and works at a university developing programs to support people with disabilities. Together, we play games, take trips, dance, hang out, watch movies, spend time with family. Jim has a small nuclear family but a big extended family. Most family lives within 2 hours, so we visit often. Liz has a brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and her parents. All live a short plane ride away. Both our families value children so everybody is very excited and can’t wait to welcome a baby. Our hope for any child is to become their own person and grow up with wonderful memories of a home filled with laughter, lots of love, hugs and kisses, and support. We plan to be open about our adoption journey with the child. Thanks again and we hope to get a chance to learn more about you.
