September 2009 - Although adoptions in Vietnam have shut down the children left behind still need help. Tam Binh Orphanage has contacted us to help them with a project to build a new facility for their handicap children. This project will include, housing, new lavatories, physical therapy room, a studying room and an activities room. AFTH will oversee all building plans. Please help us with this project by donating today.

April 2009 - With donations designated for humanitarian aid project in Vietnam, AFTH was able to provide education scholarships to over 100 junior and senior high school students at the Tam Binh Orphanage. Each child also received their very own messenger bag to help carry their books. Cans of infant formula, bath towels, and changing pads were also donated to the orphanage to help provide for the daily needs of the infants being cared for at Tam Binh.

Thi Nghe orphanage was also the focus of our humanitarian aid efforts in Vietnam. A washing machine and a water filter machine were donated. The orphanage also received 160 cans of infant formula, bath towels, and changing pads.

In total, over $8,000 in scholarships and materials were donated. 

In 2007 & 2008 AFTH has continued its commitment to support Vietnamese orphanages with contributions to help ease the burden of daily expenses including food, clothing, educational materials and medical supplies to 4 orphanages in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, AFTH provided funds towards their annual Tet celebration.

We are currently seeking new projects for 2009. We are collecting donations to help with these and will be posting details about new missions soon.
